Two deceits were discovered during control, so additional data collection took place between 5 and 15 of March 1999. Geographical range of database: Transylvania. The unit of the analysis: person. The 1992 census data on 16 Transylvanian counties constituted the starting point, which was partially completed with data from 1995, by taking into consideration the settlements’ ethnic and age distribution, as well as the town /village ratio. The settlements can be grouped according to the following criteria: ethnical dominance, the settlement’s administrative status, town/village environment, historical-geographical and territorial distribution.
